Swan Valley Time Out

THE SWAN VALLEY EXPERIENCE

Mondo Nougat is proud to be a part of the Swan Valley community. We suggest that a visit to our factory is the perfect excuse to visit the region and discover the local wineries, breweries, restaurants, art galleries and other local producers our region is renowned for. At less than 30 minutes from the city and the airport why not start your day at our factory and pick up a map and a bit of local knowledge whilst enjoying some homemade cakes and coffee.

Want to get the most out of your stay and stay a few days? Take the time to plan your own trip at www.swanvalley.com.au. Need a car? Bayswater Car Rental for great rates and convenient locations or leave the car at home and jump onboard an organised tour with any of the local operators.

SCHOOL EXCURSIONS & EDUCATIONAL VISITS

Mondo Nougat with the help of some local school teachers (a special thanks Marilyn) have put together various curriculum based visits for students from year 3.
Two sample worksheets are currently available. Also check out our activity sheets here.

Sample Worksheet 2

Popular topics for younger groups include, “where do things come from?”, food safety and packaging. Other visits can cover topics ranging from resource use and management, food production through to small business management, tourism marketing and regional land use. For other topics please call or email us.

We offer various formats for visits from a hands on activity to a casual discussion over a hot coffee and freshly made cake or ice-cream.

Please note that bookings are essential as Mondo Nougat does not perform demonstrations. To get the most from your visit and see the ‘best bits’ in production timing is critical.

You may also wish to consider visiting other attractions in the Swan Valley. The artists, blacksmith, fruit & vegetable growers and animal farms in the Swan Valley offer a range of attractions ideally suited to students of all ages.

Please feel free to call or email us for any further information.
